d1 unit 1

Add notes to this post explaining some common safety issues with using blogsites, and explain how your information and data can be made safe.

Blogsite will keep your work safe, no one can get on your files unless they know your password, it is not confusing you will understand how to use it, it will save it self if you forget to save your work, It is on google docs so it automatically saves, and you need your email to log on so only you can see it, so you then know its 100% safe unless you give your email out.  To stop hackers, identify thieves and spammers and all sorts by a virus blocker, this will keep your information safe. Also change your password regulary so no-  one could get on to your blogger and hack your information and stop them from stealing your password or pins because this can cause a serious problem. Blogsites keep our information safe because its your choice if you wan't people to see it or not. By not downloading viruses it will make your computer faster and much easier to use. Do not give away your personal details if you want your computer to be safe, because if you do your computer or any of your personal stuff can become hacked into. This can cause some data loss because the hacker can choose to get rid of it and if you have wrote it and it is something serious that you need for future refrences it will be gone. To avoid from hackers hacking your account just make sure you are safe with what you are doing and what you are leaving on. like- when you are leaving a room make sure you do not leave yourself logged in, anything could happen.

The main points would be:
  • insulting other people off
  • cyber bullying could take place, this is very effective.
  • hackers can get involved
  • giving important information out
  • downloaded virus
  • change your password regulary, and one blogger you are already logged in.
  • do not leave yourself logged in.

Add a section to your report that describes some of the threats and risks likely to arise from using IT based communication within a large company.

Viruses could occur on your computer if you are not controlling what you are doing, hackers can be found into your account if you do not look after your security on your computer and keep your files safe, this could be a problem. Also social networking can cause cyber bullying and this could lead to serious things.
Also, if your a large company you will have a big business area where people can come in and take some files which you will need in order to do your job so you'll have to be really careful when dealing with files. You can get many harmfulm virsues which will break your computer and you'll loose all the work you have done, which will be problem. AND YOU NEEED TO MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR WORK.

M1 unit 1

Identify why you think a blogsite is an effective means of communication within a large organisation. Use some of the features of Blogspot to illustrate your report

A Blog site is an effective way of communication within a large organisation because it has its own program to write on like a word document, you can upload documents as images so there are easier to view. Also you can comment on friends work and give them feed back, that is being social Active. As well you can receive emails and send emails to other people, this is an easy way to communicate. A blog spot becomes useful in school subjects for example ICT, you can upload your work for your teachers to view easily and watch your progress. blog site has a connection with Facebook and twitter also you can email other peoples documents or pictures to your self if you need them or think they are good.  gmail is needed to sign in to blogger but that is an easy process to do and then that gives you a wider range of email addresses

Justify the protocol transmission type you used. Ensure you find positive and negative aspects for the protocol and suggest a second way you could have sent the contact.

You should change your password regulary, to make sure you do not get hacked. This means it can not to damage and your data will be safe, also don't give out too much information incase poeple that are around you hear what you are saying about your personal stuff, and keeping your data safe. Just make sure you don't tell anyone at all. Keep your files in a place where you will remeber where you are putting them, so you can find them. There are viruses also that can cause alot of damage to keeping your date safe so make you don't download too much. Always log out of what you have logged in to aswell, because this can cause to some hacking.

Most Wi-Fi hubs are encrypted so that you will not be hacked and your information will not get stolen or seen. -

this was my work for M1

all together my m1 was about changing your password regulary so you will not and you have not been hacked, and then you will know that its 100% safe, and only you know your password, unless you give it to other people.

The negative things about this would be, if your changing your password so many times and you have so much you might  forget it because you will have other passwords in your head, so make sure you write it down every time and it is something simple.

The positive things about this would mean this is a safe way to have your password, and if you do write it down then you are good and you should be fine, but it really helps to change your password regularly in-case anyone knows it or try and gets on to it.

You can send the contact through email if you want, copy and paste what ever you want to and just send it to the person you wan't. Or on to a memory stick through your computer saying your files onto it then uploading it to whatever you want it on.

The translation of data into a secret code. Encryption is the most effective way to achieve data security. To read an encrypted file, you must have access to a secret key or password that enables you to keep it safe.

What mechanisms have been put in place to prevent or control the implications described for P6?

For P6 the problems were back ache, head ache and all of that.
So the methods to prevent all those problems could be measuring the chair so you can sit right and so that you are comftable where you sit and how you sit. Health and safety issues sorted, so that you are happy and you are not getting aches. Also other health and safety issues making sure the computer is in the right position for you to see so it is clear and you can understand it probably.
Also- Spending too much time on the computer can also affect your social life.  Many people spend less time actually taking to their friends and more time texting and on social networking sites.  Using your computer vast amounts every single day can also cause problems to the environment. It uses electricity which could be used for something more productive. Also many people leave their computers on standby which wastes electricity.
Spending to much time on the internet can cause cyber bullying, this has been provented because it has all been said so less people have been using the internet.  And this will lead to less cyber bulling across the internet.
Also spending too much time on the computer can seriously damage your eyes, so now less people have came across to using it as much, also making the screen duller than it is can help your eyes, so the computer right infront of you is not lighting through your eyes.

Evaluate the effectiveness of the features described in P2.
Learners should compare similar features on a range of devices and present conclusions in a clear and logical manner.
Ensure you find positives and negatives for each feature.

·         Student who needs a mobile phone with internet access- Students will need a phone with internet access incase they haven't got any other technical devices like a laptop, ipod, ipad etc.. Having internet on your phone can help your education because you can use the internet to search things, that you really need help with.

The positive things about a student having a mobile with internet access- It provide us to use internet at very low cost. Incase of an emergancy, it will also bring your education up and help you with anything you need help with.

negative- It can distract students. May cost you.

·         Self employed builder who is new to technology and has £600 to spend on a laptop for invoicing- This could help because if the builder needed anything to help him with his technology he could order it straight away and it would come.

The positive things about a self employed builder who is new to technology and has £600 to spend on a laptop for invoicing- Oder things straight away, and expect them to come straight away.

negative- could be spending more money than you are expecting too, and you could be on a low cost.

·         Journalist who needs a electronic tablet when on location- This is helpful because he could track where he is going, incase he gets lost.

positive- If he sees any storys  he can send them to his boss, useful because there would be a map on the tablet if you get lost.

negative- could interrupt him on the things he is meant to do, and he could get caught on to doing something else that he is not meant to do .

·         A factory worker who wants to listen to an MP3 player on the bus- Saves you from getting bored, will give you a bit of energy for when you are working. Stop you from getting interrupted  you can bed able to concentrate.

positive- has something to do, so he is not bored.

negative- could get carried away with what he is listening to, which could lead to him not doing what he is meant to be doing.

What are the main differences when comparing the two technologies described for P4?

You can not connect if your in the middle of a country side, you can use 3g but it will cost some money on your phone. Also a picture message, this is not good it will give you a fuzzy picture that you can not really see.
Your phone can become a mobile hotspot if you wan't it to become a mobile hotspot  then you can connect to your laptop. Then you can get wireless anywhere and send pictures from your laptop, which will give you a clearer picture.

p5

A local delivery company have been allocated money to improve their service.  Some of the money has been put aside for mobile technology approx. £500 per driver.  Make suggestions to the director of how he can spend the money, to make the delivery service more efficient.  Give examples how the mobile technology will help the business.

You can use if more efficient because you can use a satnav, which will find the quckest route which will help you to find your client. Or  using your phone eg: i phone, to find the quickest route also. spend more money on so they can place the stuff on a bigger space. if you have an anroid you can make your phone into a wireless hotspot

p4

To send pictures he can use a memory stick and save it on whatever device he is using and save it into a file and you can then upload the picture onto whatever you want, all you have to do is plug the other end and you will see something you can then publish it onto whatever you want. Picture message also, but this cost. or you can make your phone a mobile hotspot and then connect to the internet and successfully uplaod it.
